This place was great! The breakfast menu is served all day long. The service was excellent the food was excellent. We had the chorizo baleada and the Asado baleada. This was a nice find in Butner North Carolina. They also have one in durham. It's just a short drive off of I-85 worth the detour. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place, great coffee and food, and most importantly, kind people. They made a customized baleada with soft corn tortilla (I avoid wheat when I can) and prepared a double-espresso with oatmeal milk and brown sugar, as requested ❤️
Super cute little spot to eat, great food and at a great price point. We were there because it was close to baseball practice right down the road at Butner Athletic park. Our food and drinks were fresh and delicious and the staff was both welcoming and helpful. What a little gem in Butner!
I cannot say enough, how wonderful the food is at Esmeralda‘s as well as the people that work. There are so kind. If I could afford to eat here every single day I would. Everything is so fresh, I love their omelette with home fries, and their chicken quesadilla is one of my favorites.
We had visited the location in Durham and wanted to try the location in Butner since we live here. There's a large dining area, and at the time we went it wasn't very busy. My brother and his family went with me, so we had a large group, and the staff was extremely friendly. Our server (and another server) came to check on us multiple times, and they were extremely friendly/patient with the kids. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite a bit larger than expected on some dishes. The chicken nachos my nephew order was like a nacho mountain! Very good experience overall, and we will definitely be returning (with a much smaller group next time).
Had the croissant breakfast sandwich and it blew my socks off somewhere on I-85. The sandwich was so delicious with the fried egg, onions and green peppers and grilled croissant that I didn’t even bother to find my socks which were likely somewhere up in a tall pine tree. You just eat here, but tie your shoes tight because your socks will come off. Tasty little latte too. NICE
The food in the service was great. The inside is super clean and organized. Has a very nice atmosphere a lot of space as well. I love all the different menu items they have. A very good variety of food, coffee, and pastries.

Really cute and convenient cafe. I love their authentic Honduran menu options the best. I also love their huevos rancheros and breakfast plates. The staff are friendly. I order take out primarily and the staff almost always get my order correct each time I order. Would recommend and return.
